LPG prices in Jammu & Kashmir are influenced by global crude oil prices and are subject to change on a monthly basis. The Indian government subsidizes LPG for low-income individuals in the state, and the subsidy amount is transferred directly to the recipient’s bank account. LPG is widely used in both domestic and industrial settings in Jammu & Kashmir. Currently, the price of a domestic LPG cylinder (14.2 kg) in Srinagar is Rs. 1,169.
