Students who have successfully gone through various levels of verification are now waiting for their scholarship amount. As per latest news, scholarship amount has been credited to various students in many states. Students are advised to keep checking their NSP payment status daily.
If Your application verified at School/Institute level and then at domicile district/ domicile State/UT level then your NSP scholarship application will be sent to PFMS for payment. If your application status shows application sent to PFMS for payment and if your token number generated then you will get your scholarship amount soon into your bank accounts.

- Download and open Umang app
- Click on PFMS option
- Click on Know your payment option
- Enter your bank account number
- Enter Bank
- Enter mobile number
- Click on submit option
- Click on your scholarship
- After that your PFMS status will be displayed
If your PFMS status shows processing with bank then you will get your NSP Scholarship soon.
NSP Scholarship Money Not Credited In My Bank Account – Check Reason Below
My PFMS status showing under processing with bank but still i am not getting my NSP Scholarship amount: In that case you are advised to keep your bank account active to receive the scholarship amount (till the disbursal of scholarships).
Confirm from your bank that your account is not dormant/closed and also be sure that your account is free from transaction limit or any other conditions till the disbursal of scholarship is made in your account, to avoid any chance of transaction failure/return of scholarship amount.
Please note that in case of transaction failure/return of scholarship amount, there is no provision for re-payment and Ministry of Minority Affairs is not responsible for such lapse.
My NSP Scholarship Defected or Rejected at any Ministry or Department Level: If your NSP Scholarship application rejected at any particular ministries and departments then your NSP Scholarship amount will not be credited into your bank accounts. Apart from this, If your NSP Scholarship application not verified or marked as defected at any particular ministries and departments then you should contact particular nodal ministry / department for further assistance. Any grievance or representation regarding not verifications of applications or delay in application verification should be directly sent or addressed to the scheme owner ministry / department. Contact details of nodal ministry / department are available under SERVICES section on the NSP official portal.
After contact, your application will be verified and sent to PFMS for payment after that your NSP scholarship amount will be credited into your bank accounts
